The Poggio Tre Cancelli State Natural Reserve covers an area (99 hectares, 50 of the reserve proper and 49 destined for protection) hilly forest with evergreen coppice with prevalence of holm oak; it is located in the Municipality of Follonica (GR).

Description
The Poggio Tre Cancelli Reserve is located within the Montioni Park. The flora is characterized by woods with imposing specimens of holm oak, Turkey oak and cork oak; other plant species present in the area are lorniello, arbutus, black hornbeam, fillirea latifolia, lerica, hornbeam, lacero trilobo, cornel, lalaterno, lentisk, myrtle, viburnum, rowan, ciavardello. Nesting lavifauna is represented in particular by numerous species of diurnal and nocturnal birds of prey such as the kestrel, the buzzard, the owl and the barn owl. Among the mammals we remember the roe deer, the wild boar, the fox, the lizard, the hedgehog, the badger, the marten, the squirrel.

- By car: SS Aurelia north from Grosseto to Follonica, from here towards Massa Marittima; at the crossroads for Montioni, turn left and, before reaching this center, turn left again.
